California Wildfires Victims Closer To Receiving Aid

This week, a California court appointed Alternative Dispute Resolution specialist, Cathy Yanni, as administrator of the Wildfire Assistance Program. In this role, Yanni will develop eligibility requirements and application procedures for the distribution of the $105 million Wildfire Assistance Fund. Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), whose faulty equipment was recently reported to have started the deadly Camp Fire, will provide the funds to help the communities and individuals recover from this tragedy. The raging fire decimated thousands of homes and businesses, displacing residents and causing unsafe after-effects such as water contamination.
