Displaced Camp Fire Voters Encouraged to Update Mailing Address

Voters who had to abandon their homes in the Paradise, CA Camp Fire last fall are urged to update their mailing addresses with the register of voters. The Butte County Elections Office notes that survivors of the fire who plan to return to their properties are able to retain their voting address, however do need to update their temporary mailing address on their voter registration. Those residents that do not intend to return to their homes destroyed by the fire may re-register with their new permanent address.
